Where are we now?
Our first few years we will be on the move, located at a variety of places and venues. You may find us in a library, a school or a shopping mall, you just never know, so be sure to keep your eyes open and check back often so we can give you updates of where we are. ˇViva tu vida - Get Up! Get Moving! Saturday, June 14, 2008 8:00 - 1:00 The South Bay Children's Museum will be joining the San Ysidro Heath Center in celebrating ˇViva tu vida!-Get Up! Get Moving! This event will be held in the parking lot of MAAC Charter High School. SBCM will be premiering it's newest exhibit "Taking Care of What's Inside."
Your children will learn about properly feeding, resting and protecting their bodies. And as usual, they will be learning this through hands on fun experiences that will answer questions like: What does our skeleton look like? How does safety gear protect our bodies? and "What are the healthiest choices to put into our stomachs? We can't wait to see you!

US Olympic Trials - BMX / Cycling Saturday, June 14, 2008 9:00 - 4:00 Chula Vista is so lucky to have an awesome US Olympic Training Center right in its own back yard. This event is a great opportunity for you and your children to experience first hand the results of the hard work and dedication of some of our nations best athletes. The SBCM will be participating in the Expo being held at the 2008 Olympic Team Trials for BMX. Come on out and find our booth. We will be featuring Bubble-ology, and if you've ever experienced this fun and information-filled display, you will remember that this is one of the SBCM's most popular exhibits.
